We are facing an unprecedented situation with COVID19. While the immediate and long term impact of this pandemic is still unfolding, we want to reinforce that we are here to support you and your families. Our organization will survive this crisis, but it will come with a price. At this time we do not know what price it will be.
As for now, we continue to follow the guidelines set forth by CHSAA. They’re focus is directed to overall safety and wellbeing of athletes and their families. The nation has extended the limited group gatherings to help mitigate the spread of the virus; falling in line, the Governor has echoed the same message. We continue to stay abreast of the ever changing situation through constant communications with players, families, and organizations across the state. As for now, nothing has changed. We still have no plans to start a season prior to April 18th. With that being said, I do expect more information to be distributed throughout this week. As we learn more about our future for our Patriots 2020 season, I will keep you posted.
Please stay healthy and smart as we deal with this consistently annoying virus. Second to that, try to spend as much time outdoors with a stick in your hands. There are multiple creative videos of friends playing lacrosse on the web and if you create one, send it to us to publish as well.
In the meantime, check up on your teammates and friends. A phone call goes a long way.
